"Me and my wife loved our stay here. We came for the Christmas market and this was the perfect location with just a couple of minuets walk. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed and more, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was beautiful, one of the best breakfasts we've had and having it served in our room was and very nice touch. We'll be visiting again. "

"We have visited this property a couple of times before booking a long weekend stay. I can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food! The room was clean and comfortable, the tiniest issue I had (it’s really small!) is that the bathroom door could not be closed and the fridge in the room would cone on periodically (which for a light sleeper can be a bit of an issue). "Very attractive decor and newly done. The bathroom was the best I've yet to stay in. Comfortable bedroom with good facilities. The staff were excellent, so friendly and willing to help. Got the impression they were happy in their work. All food was extremely tasty and well sourced."

"Excellent accommodation. The room 'Bigwig' was large, comfortable with a spacious ensuite. Clean and well decorated. The pub did lovely food both day, evening and breakfast. We were made to feel very welome and the service was really good. Would definitely visit again and wish the guys the best of luck in their new endeavour."

"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "
