"the room was not warm enough and although mentioned to the staff, it was some time before the heating was sufficient. The tea maker was in a cupboard on the floor. This is the first time I have encountered this in a hotel, This was not easy to make the first cup of tea in the morning. "Amazing location. Clean and comfy room. Fridge on landing where we could keep fresh dog food and milk, they can be noisy in the room so great idea. Needs to update to a decent coffee machine if the sign outside says ‘coffee house’. Only filter served and not very nice. Some really lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely come back. 9/10"

"I expected to be able to have a meal as the details indicated a restaurant but there was no evening food available. As they had few guests they also closed the bar at 7.30 pm. Odd as when I booked it indicated that there was limited availability. The hotel is pretty basic. The room was clean though and decent breakfast. This has slightly dented my trust in the accuracy of details provided on Expedia. I had been travelling around the north of England and this was the least value for money."
