"Well located for Grand Central station and access to midtown. Hotel room was small but normal for NYC. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that there was no safe in the room. With so many visitors coming from abroad with passports etc, these seems like a big oversight "

"The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was close to transportation and many places to eat. The rooms were a bit dated. The air conditioner did not work. The bedding could also use an upgrade. However, despite the issues I would stay at the Fitzpatrick again."

"Prettier in the pictures. When I visited the neon Freehand sign was busted. The hallways and rooms were very dimly lit. The room had no view. And I was charged a resort fee for an onsite restaurant that was "closed for a private event" and a bar that was closed for the month. "
