We had three girls staying there for a girls weekend, and even though the house can sleep more than that, I think it would have felt cramped, so keep that in mind. The host was very responsive to our communications. The house was super clean and she included a bunch of nice little *sweet* touches throughout :-)"

"We loved the house and the neighborhood until checkout day when they began demolishing the cottage next door. As we were loading our cars, the airborne remnants of the insulation from the destruction next door floated all over our belongings, our cars, and into our hosts garage. "

"We were two couples (in our 60’s) in Portland for a couple days visiting. John’s place was wonderful! We had plenty of space for the four of us with room to spare. Very comfortable and relaxing. We absolutely LOVED the front porch/deck. Very spacious and an amazing view of the beach and ocean! Bathroom and kitchen were not “updated” but it’s a 110 year old home so we really didn’t mind - everything worked and that’s what’s important. The apartment is upstairs and John lives downstairs. ...

"We could only fine one means of egress, which was the entry door with the keypad. There is another door on the ground level, but it was locked and the lockbox keys did not open it. In addition, there appeared to be a door inside that leads to the ground level, but that was also locked and no key was provided. This may be in violation of the Maine fire code and should be corrected. I believe the code states that two means of egress are required in residential buildings. "

"Very clean and thoughtfully set up house. It looked recently remodeled. The yard was spacious and great for the kids to run around in. Located about a 8 minute walk to dock square. "

"The picture on VRBO leads you to believe you just go down the pathway shown to get to the beach when you are actually in a neighborhood and have to walk down the street to get to the beach. The house was very clean and both beds were very comfortable. The host was very fast to respond to my messages. Needs clean shower liner. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Stayed with family, from multiple states to meet in beautiful Ogunquit for a wedding (bride and groom stayed here too). Home is immaculate and comfortable, tastefully furnished with a soft place for every person to sit. Bedrooms were delightfully quiet with lovely beds and bedding.
