"Very friendly and helpful manager, Oscar. Rooms were updated nicely. Property is beautiful and right on the river. One night Oscar and the owner (perhaps?) had a bbq and offered us food and drinks. So hospitable and gracious. Stayed here the nights before and after backpacking in Desolation Wilderness. Highly recommend."

Cleanliness is so important (now, still more than ever) and the property takes great care inside and out! The breakfast which is included in your stay, is very well done and has an incredible array of choices not just bread, more bread and juice as so many hotels offer! Easy access from the freeway, and just far enough away to be quiet. Great stay!"
