"My husband and I had a beautiful stay in Gertrude for two nights. The property is beautiful and feels secluded but is close and convenient to everything you need. The only thing to note is that the only cooking facilities are a small grill and a kettle for tea/coffee. Also a mini fridge. All worked perfectly, but good to know for planning!"

This house provided us with a comfortable safe haven less than a few miles from each of the three stops we planned out for our evening of celebration (Fieldstones Restaurant, Ragged Island Brewery, and Caleb & Broad Restaurant/Bar). "We were looking for an overnight stay to attend a seasonal event at the Breakers in RI. We have used VRBO in the past as we prefer a simple accomodation rather than a traditional hotel experience. This stay was close to the waterfront, easy in/out & parking (street). The unit was small which was ok for us and nicely renovated and very clean. The host was responsive and friendly so all was good. We would use this scenario again."
