"We had tickets to the Belly Up. This hotel was just a 10 minute walk. It is also right on a nice bike path near the coast. Check in was easy and breakfast was plentiful."

"Staff was helpful and courteous. Room was a bit dated and the mini fridge smelled moldy and didn't quite keep stuff cold enough. But the value, location and nice pool patio / hot tub made up for it. Hotel parking is $29 / night but when I looked exasperated, the front desk person informed me of the free & plentiful parking behind the hotel, arguably closer to our room than the hotel garage! Appreciated the on-site laundry even if it was $2 (all in quarters) for each washer and each dryer cycle. Detergent sold at front desk, on the other side of the hotel from the laundry but thankfully the laundry itself was near my room."

"If you are staying in the area, this is a great choice. The place was great. It was clean, well appointed, and clean.If I was to have one minor nitpick it would be no window coverings on the top floor. We did a movie night there and you feel on display a bit. My daughter also slept on pull out and it made it a little difficult with the early light.That being said, we would stay again no problem."

"This rental was perfect and exactly what we needed/hoped for. It is very accurately described and extremely well equipped, comfortable and spacious. The beds/bedding were so of the best we've experienced - comfy mattresses and lots of pillow options! The complex is nice and quiet, pool with hot tub and beach access are just up the stairs. The neighborhood has lots of fun restaurants and shops within walking distance, and all areas around downtown San Diego were very accessible, within easy 20-30 minutes drives. Covered garage parking, or easy street parking. And Mariam, who manages the property, was so helpful! "

"We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed many walks/jogs along the beach, used the gym and jacuzzi. It’s a nice quiet community but still close to downtown Del Mar and Solana Beach if you enjoy walking. We’d love to come back."
