My stay was absolutely amazing! The view is so stunning and the whole beach is truly beautiful. The hot tub and pool overlooking the ocean were great, too. It’s such a quiet and peaceful place - truly paradise. Tons of great restaurants around. Excellent communication with the host. I am dying to go back!

What a view!

Awesome Oceanview Condo!!!
Well-appointed condo in a laid-back, quiet complex. Parking was super convenient to unit. Oceanfront Pool and Spa. Stairs to beach was right next to property, which is not so common in this area. We've stayed at many VRBO ocean-front rentals from Leucadia to Del Mar and this was one of our favorites. Scott, the host, was also top-notch with his communication and efforts to make our stay the best possible. We stay at VRBO properties in various parts of world, so know how important a good host is. We look forward to returning!

We are retired snowbirds that feel very grateful we found this Vrbo. If offers a wonderful 24/7 view of the Pacific Ocean. Has comfortable furniture, has a well stocked kitchen. Cozy location at the end of the condo complex which meant plenty of privacy. Spacious bedroom. Lots of bedroom furniture, cedar closet for our things. Easy parking easy few steps to door if that's a concern. Already going back next winter!

Perfect Oceanview rental
Terrific condo for 2 people. Everything you need is here. Floor to ceiling windows provide a breath-taking view of the ocean. We walked 10 miles everyday on the beach. You won't regret staying at this lovely unit.

FANTASTIC GETAWAY PLACE AND LOCATION
Hi Scott, The Mack Shack is overall wonderful … cleanliness, the condo layout and location, the condo is outfitted with everything anyone would need, the kitchen had everything a cook needs along with nice dishes and great glasswares. The view is fantastic and the beach is as well … saw a few seals and a bunch of dolphins. No problem finding good restaurants close by. I highly recommend to anyone seeking some great time away. The view...
We enjoyed our beach vacation despite the rain and cold because we had the view from the perfectly placed chair by the window. Kitchen was well equipped and we used it. Comfortable bed and furniture. We enjoyed exploring the small beach community. Walking distance to great cafes and shops.

First of all, the host is amazing. Excellent communication, easy check in and out. The condo is spacious and comfortable,. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and had some excellent meals at the local restaurants. 10 STARS. we will be back!

Fabulous view.
We wanted a condo on the water to rest and unwind. We got it in spades! Couldn’t ask for a better location or view. Fabulous sunsets. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed was on hand. Overall an excellent experience.

Paradise over looking the Ocean
Fabulous condo. High quality renovation, comfortable, spacious for a 1 bedroom. Nice attention to details, thoughtfully supplied with anything you could possibly need. Location could not be better. Wonderful Ocean View
This condo is in a perfect location for watching the sun set over the Pacific. The unit is quiet and clean. However, the bed and the couch are a little "tired," and the unit would benefit from a few written instructions on how to access Netflix, etc. However, over all it is a nice place to stay.

Property great for 2 people. Spectacular view of the ocean Through floor to ceiling picture windows. Cozy balcony overlooks ocean allowing sites of surfers, swimmers, walkers, and beautiful sunsets. Perfect beach getaway
This property is outstanding! The pictures show the great view but it is amazing in person. Big windows, unobstructed view of the beach and ocean which are only steps away. Watch sunsets, storms, surfers, dolphins, pelicans and fishing boats from the deck or living room, it is never boring! The unit is stocked with absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay and is very clean. Scott is wonderful to work with, answered questions immediately and even got us a rental tv next day when the living room one quit. We have already looked to book here next winter. Mack's Shack is definitely our favorite spot!

Wonderful Week in Solana Beach
My wife and I spent an awesome week at the condo. All is as advertised. The view is fantastic. We watched surfers, whales, brown pelicans, dolphins and even a Coast Guard rescue of a floundering sailboat from the living room. The sailboat and occupants were fine. Scott was very easy to communicate with as well. Beach walks, shooting hoop at Fletcher Cove, hiking at Torrey Pines and Annie's Canyon Trail, the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, seals and sea lions at La Jolla Cove, a violin recital at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, great outdoor dining on the beach with sunsets at Poseidon in Del Mar (ask for Dave)... A fantastic trip, a fantastic rental and a fantastic hose. Thanks Scott, we'll be back. Andrew and Gail

Great one bedroom condo with oceanfront views
Nicely decorated condo with gorgeous views of the beach and ocean. We walked on the beach and got our cardio exercise walking back up. Nice pool and spa. No grill to bar b que which was disappointing. Scott, our host, was very good at responding to my texts. Wish they had more information on the laundry facility. I had to ask a lady worker why my washing machine was not working. I needed a laundry card and had to use a credit card to pay for it. I thought $15 to do laundry was high. Master bed needs to be replaced. It is too soft and lumpy which did not help my husbands back issues. All in all a super place to relax and watch the surfers with dining close by.
