"The proprietor, Ed, took pride in the establishment. There was time taken and attention to detail in the room, as well as the outside of the Inn, being decorated for Christmas. The room was clean and very accommodating. The Inn was in walking distance to dining, shops, and the train depot. I would definitely stay at Calhoun Inn & Suites again and highly recommend it to those travelling to that area, or for those looking for a weekend get-a-way. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. We had adjoining rooms for a large family, and it was perfect. We were close to Cherokee without having to stay in that part of town. The staff was very nice and friendly. We could not have had a better place for a short stay."

"It was one of the best Christmas’ I have had in a long time. This place is amazing and I will be definitely staying again. The trails were hiker friendly. The directions for the room was detailed and very specific. This was a much needed break from society that I needed. The space is beautiful. "

"I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. "The free breakfast was horrible. The staff was rude. We walked in at 6:29 AM and it wasn't supposed to start until 6:30 AM and she immediately reminded us of that, very sternly. No morning greeting, just breakfast starts at 6:30 AM I said ma'am it is 6:29 AM I will stand here for one minute and wait. Then there were very limited choices, between a stale bagel, a stale muffin. The waffle machine was down, no eggs, no bacon, no sausage. We opted for a bowl of cold cereal. No fruit and no water."

"The property was beautiful. We had issues with our toilet not working but the plumber came later that evening. I did not read anywhere that there is No elevator at this hotel and we are in our 70’s and it was difficult to carry our luggage to the second floor and no one to help. The staff was very nice."
