"We had a fantastic 2 weeks stay for Christmas and New Year. It was a family holiday with 8 adults and 4 children ranging in ages 5 - 12. The house was amazing and was equipped with everything we needed. The kids were so happy that there was a big basket of beach toys and they spent many hours making sand castles at the beach. The water was a bit choppy when we were there but fun for body surfing. The pool also was a hit! The town of Chelem and also Chaburno near by was interesting too - we felt we were seeing the 'real' Mexico. So sad to see all the skinny little street dogs. We wanted to take them all home. A highlight of our trip was a private tour to a Cenote run by a Mayan family. The tour included lunch provided by the family and then we visited the Mayan Ruin Ake. The only comment is on transportation - we had one car and sometimes that was a problem with so many people wanting to do different things - Not sure if we could have asked for another set of keys for the garage door but it was a bit hard logistically with so many people sharing and wanting to do different things. Loved our vacation and would highly recommend staying at this house! Thank you! We took the new Mayan Train to Cancun on our way home and that was also a great experience-very smooth and brand new. A good way to get from Cancun to Merida."

"Fabulous house with lots of room, great for families. We were here in June during storm season and there were minor leaks (bedroom, kitchen, back patio) but all were manageable with the supplies provided. Although very limited rags/towels were provided. Kitchen supplies made cooking really easy and local markets nearby. We did rent a car but if you don't mind walking in the heat it could be walkable in 30min. Unfortunately there were no hammocks like in the pictures. Hosts were not very responsive for questions/communication but they were very nice. Wonderful pool and space. Great air conditioning and fans. Provided electrical mosquito repellent (blue square inserts). Adorable gekos, dragon flies to help with the mosquitos. We did see 3 cockroaches and 1 scorpion. All very easy to remove with provided supplies and none we're dangerous... Exciting for the kids!! We'd definitely stay here again!"

"The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!"

"Wonderful home, well appointed and laid out. Each bedroom has an en suite bath, one with an outdoor shower which was a special treat. Fantastic roof deck with oversize loungers where we enjoyed our morning coffee. A few steps and you are at the gorgeous beach. Elena and Francisco are terrific, responsive and helpful. All in all a perfect stay."

"La piscina estaba sucia, la alberca para niños no está activa. Nos tocó en una habitación donde el drenaje pasa por las tuberías del techo del cuarto y no deja dormir el ruido del agua de todo el edificio. Decía que el check in era a las 11, y llegamos y nos dijeron que hasta la 1, cuando nos dieron la habitación, el baño estaba sucio, y había sabanas sucias del huésped anterior. El anuncio dice que hay restaurante, pero no existe ningún restaurante en el alojamiento, y tampoco incluye desayuno como dice en expedía. "
