"Carlos is a terrific host who went out of his way to be helpful: arranged our airport pickup and helped in departure, offered to move us to a different room if street noise (he's near Merida's main plaza downtown) bothered us, had lots of helpful advice. And did everything with cheerful charm and in pretty good English! All in all, a good place, good price, lots of nearby attractions in an exciting city."

"Property is exactly as shown. Safe location, spent nights on the patio well into the night. In fact, other than (friendly) dogs barking ALOT the neighborhood was very quiet. The houses across the street came to life on the weekend and we were told they were people who live in Merida and come for the weekend. There is an Oxxo within walking distance which is helpful. Pao's for breakfast is a must - also within walking distance. A beautiful, comfortable rental."

"This boutique is a block or so from Paseo de Montejo. My favorite street in Merida. GREAT location. Walkable to everything. Tons of restaurants. Nelson, the manager, was so welcoming, hospitable, helpful, thorough and highly communicative. It’s a lovely, quirky layout that worked perfectly for me. Definitely one of my favorite places now. I look forward to coming back! "

"The location was fantastic, we loved waking up to views of the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and working. The swimming pool was clean and we spent a lot of time swimming in the pool and beach. Good communication from the host. "

"When we arrived we were greeted with a small army of cockroaches, crawling on every surface of the house and in every room. To find that we had to pay to exterminate them. After having to personally dispose of the hundreds of cockroaches. We learned that there was no gas flowing to the range so we were unable to cook. The bed in the master bedroom was rock hard, we are pretty sure that it was just a box spring with a topper. There's a lot more going on but you can get the point. Perhaps...

"The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!"
