"Property is exactly as shown. Safe location, spent nights on the patio well into the night. In fact, other than (friendly) dogs barking ALOT the neighborhood was very quiet. The houses across the street came to life on the weekend and we were told they were people who live in Merida and come for the weekend. There is an Oxxo within walking distance which is helpful. Pao's for breakfast is a must - also within walking distance. A beautiful, comfortable rental."

"We stayed at Carlos' “Club Apartment” for one week and liked it so much that we wanted to prolong our stay, but all apartments were booked out. Other than a perfect place in the centre of Mérida, Carlos' hospitality is extraordinary: he, to the extent of the possibilities, tried to fulfill each of our wishes; he provided us with all additional kitchen utensils and devices that we needed; he brought us drinking water and even allowed us to wash our personal clothes in his brand-new washing...

"The location and beach are the best there is. The pool was hard to swim in for the first few days till they came out and filled it. Once filled it was wonderful. Bedrooms were air conditioned and comfortable. "

"This property does not deserve to be included into the Expedia book of business. The unit was dirty, very poor maintained and very basic for the price I was charged. I would not recommend any Expedia customer to stay at this location. There are other properties in the same area that offers much better conditions and services if someone want to enjoy the life in Progreso. "

"This boutique is a block or so from Paseo de Montejo. My favorite street in Merida. GREAT location. Walkable to everything. Tons of restaurants. Nelson, the manager, was so welcoming, hospitable, helpful, thorough and highly communicative. It’s a lovely, quirky layout that worked perfectly for me. Definitely one of my favorite places now. I look forward to coming back! "

"Workers there most of our time there. Pool was not a pool but a tank basically. Bottom was dirty snd needed cleaning. Hard to use it when workers were right there. Bathroom light never worked. "The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!"
