"What a fantastic place to stay! The “tent” was large, cozy, and cleaner than most hotel rooms. The heater kept us warm all night. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Amenities such as dishes, first aid supplies, and flashlights were available in our “tent”. Restrooms were spacious with toilet, sink, and shower. Towels were available. There are even some saunas to enjoy. However the best thing is the fact that it is very dog friendly! Our dogs really enjoyed getting to go on vacation with us."

"Our group of 6 friends truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything listed in the description was accurate. The host, Ms. Hilton, was wonderful and kind. We had clear communication throughout, and she even offered early check-in and late checkout since it was off-season and possible to accommodate.The property itself is amazing, with the highlight being the lakefront fire pit where our friends and I had a wonderful time. The first night, the view of Lake Superior under moonlight was one of the most breathtaking scenes I've seen in a long time. The house has plenty of space with a great living room perfect for gathering to play games and chat. The rooms are spacious and neat with windows providing excellent natural lighting.We did find some dog hair on one of our blankets, but this seems to have been an anomaly as everything else was exceptionally clean and tidy. There was ample parking space as well. All in all, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in a private space along Lake Superior."

"I really enjoyed all the little seating areas that we could use to sit and enjoy a game, or a cup of coffee outside the room. Everyone was so nice, and I loved that the continental breakfast had oatmeal!"

"Setting is tucked off highway giving calm after an active travel day, staff were welcoming, kind & accommodating. A coffee & cocoa bar in lobby with complimentary cookies & large stone fireplace added to the ambiance. Beds were so comfortable. We didn’t dine in restaurant however menu looked enticing! "

"It was chilly and snowy but the views from the deck and from inside the big picture windows were absolutely stunning, and we made use of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit to stay nice and cozy. The only minor downside to this hidden gem of a property is that it has pretty low water pressure - it made washing dishes a bit more difficult and made me not want to even attempt washing my shoulder length hair. But outside of that (again, very minor) this place was truly a little slice of heaven on Earth. Everything went so smoothly, even though we showed up the day after some heavy snowfall and weren’t initially sure we’d make it up the long dirt driveway! (We did, and we had no issues whatsoever with our Subaru making the trek up to the front door multiple times over the long weekend). This place is worth an extended stay!"
