"This home exceeded all of our expectations and the online photos do not do it justice. Highlights of this home include: a master bedroom with a king bed, master bath, and an amazing view of Lake Superior. The master bath had a large walk in shower, tub, two sink areas, a separate toilet area, and a walk in closet. There were two other queen bedrooms, both near bathrooms and an upstairs that included a twin bed (separate area with a cute 'tent' design), king bed, crib, futon, full bath, and lots of seating options. The description lists it as a loft, but it's really an upstairs, that gives the guests full privacy. Favorite areas include the large living room with floor to ceiling windows that have a direct view of Lake Superior, comfortable seating for your entire family, and a gas fireplace. In addition, the open concept kitchen, large gas stove (worked great), frig, dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen, as well as the large family table were perfect for our group. The outside space was amazing, with an area for a campfire, steps down to the large rocks, a large deck area with seating, and a screened in porch (with an outdoor wine frig). There is a 3 stall garage that we didn't use but it was clean and would have been handy to use in the winter time. The location of this home is in between Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls -- so easy to get to both of these locations! Highly recommend!"

"What a fantastic place to stay! The “tent” was large, cozy, and cleaner than most hotel rooms. The heater kept us warm all night. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Amenities such as dishes, first aid supplies, and flashlights were available in our “tent”. Restrooms were spacious with toilet, sink, and shower. Towels were available. There are even some saunas to enjoy. However the best thing is the fact that it is very dog friendly! Our dogs really enjoyed getting to go on vacation with us."

"Cute, cozy cabin directly on the big lake! Great location, near state parks and hiking trails, with a few close by bars in walking distance. Great communication with the owners and the home was clean, organized, and very quaint. Amazing views from both the upstairs and downstairs picture windows. "

"Setting is tucked off highway giving calm after an active travel day, staff were welcoming, kind & accommodating. A coffee & cocoa bar in lobby with complimentary cookies & large stone fireplace added to the ambiance. Beds were so comfortable. We didn’t dine in restaurant however menu looked enticing! "
