We were unfortunately visiting during Christmas, and the hotel organised a very loud party, which made it hard to sleep! Agreed to lower the volume after many requests "

"I stayed here 10 years ago and it was wonderful. The “bones” are great but “cracks” are appearing. The rooms are generous and the property and vistas are beautiful. The property, rooms and facilities are beginning to look a little tired and the staff are struggling. The swimming pool and spa are a long way away but there used to be buggies to pick you up especially during the heat of the day. Phones not working so room service was difficult. "It is a very cute hotel, friendly staff in a quite place. Their breakfast doesn't have many options (just eggs and fruits and toast). The road to lead to the hotel is quite tricky. A narrow road between grass that you drive for a good 10m. Nothing is around there. The signs on each room are really creative. But it is cheap and clean!"

"We got to the property and did not have the upgraded rooms. Apparently they don’t read their emails or bookings from Expedia. We had to scramble to get just regular rooms. The actual rooms hardly anything worked including the locks, the safe, the bathtub did not work properly. It was quite a disappointment. Considering we thought we were getting an upgraded experience. I would not go there again. "

"A little bit of frustration as it could be a gem, but the attention to details in the room make it average. Service was excellent, food was superb and properly priced, rooms were big and well designed, the flaw lies in the attention to details. Mosquito marks on the walls, cracks not plastered, gaps in doors that allowed bugs and animals (geckos and frogs) to come inside, mosquito net in shower room with wide gaps…I would be expecting this not to happen in a 4 star hotel"
