Particularly recommended if you prefer the charm and individuality of an old "tipico" historic building over a modern anonymous one. Siena deserves at least a few days of your itinerary. We stayed 6 nights and would return."

"Did not realize that the shared bathroom was for all rooms in the hotel not just two adjoining rooms. Quite a hike up the the floor the hotel is located on. Otherwise we found the facilites very clean and the staff ere very helpful and courteous. Location was excellent and our overall experience very positive."

"Bathroom could really be a lot cleaner. It’s a walk-up to the room on 2nd floor, but not bad unless you have a lot of luggage. The room itself is comfortable and the kitchen facilities are pretty good. I missed having a window in the room I could look out of, but also appreciated the peace and quiet. Can’t complain much about the kitchen, it has most of what you need, but there should really be a wine bottle opener. This is Italy after all. :)"

"Our group of friends (Australian) very much enjoyed our 4 nights in the Apartment. It is very centrally located alongside the Piazza Salimbeni. Our hosts Gianluca and Alex were easy to communicate with via WhatsApp, and helped us with valet parking for our mini van, prior to entering the city centre. We lucked upon the celebration for the recent Palio and enjoyed the fanfare. There’s heaps of restaurants nearby and all the sights are within easy walking distance. There was a bit of noise on...
