We (2 grandparents, 8 children and spouses, and 15 grandchildren ages 7 to 30) came to this Ft Recovery gem from Ohio, Illinois, New York, Los Angeles and Virginia. "The Cozy 2 Bedroom Abode in Historical South Park was a nice place. I stayed alone, so it had plenty of room for me. I like staying in vacation homes versus hotels because I like having a yard and the option to cook and prepare my own meals in a kitchen. My biggest gripes: there was not a remote for the television, and the place had a very hard time warming up. I haven't been to Ohio in a long time, I am from Texas so maybe the cooler temps took me aback. I couldn't get the place over 70...

"Beautiful setting. One of the best “Go jump in the lake” backyard “infinity” areas ideal for fishing, swimming and watching the herons chase each other. Inside is new and welcoming, clean, tastefully decorated and has that vital loading room needed for lake life needs. Amenities galore. Only concern is Fees seem overboard from the original nightly rental rate. Owners were helpful and genuinely interested in making our stay pleasant and were prompt to respond. "Driving down the street was worried property wouldnt be all that it showed. Have had that happen before. But once we walked thru the front door our minds was set at ease. The place was very clean, more well equipped than i imagined it would be, and the beds and furniture so very comfy!! The hot tub was very relaxing! We didnt venture out other than the event we went down there for the place was so relaxing! One of the best experiences ever. The kids wanted to stay longer but i had to come back...
