"Overall another lovely stay at The Kingswood. The lounge is lovely, the quiz a bonus and staff all delightful - special shoutout to Steve who is an asset all round. Lots of personal attention including remembering our son’s name. Breakfast is great quality and tasty with good choice. Room was a bit warm despite radiators being off and there’s no aircon. "Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Great location. Breakfast was fab. Fish and chips in Dukes next door (part of the hotel chain)was amazing. But the bedroom was so hot. No radiator or towel rail were on but the room was like a sauna. Slept on top of bed with window wide open but very hot all night!"

"I have stayed here many times. Southern Cross is an ancient Devon thatched cottage and grade 2 listed building. It is quaint and quirky. The service is brilliant, the breakfast is excellent and very dog friendly. I always enjoy my stay. "

"We love coming to Sidmouth there is nice shop and tea rooms, book shops there is a nice big playground and the weather was very good warm for October/November and the best of all is this flat it's a nice sides it's got every thing you need and its got parking and iit very close to the shops and sea front we will be back next year "
