"Some dirty towels in bathroom and pool water not great quality. Was offered take away breakfast as leaving before breakfast started. It contained stale pastries and fizzy water and absolutely rotten apple. But otherwise hotel was nice. Rooms spacious"

"This is the 5th time we have stayed at the Highland Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed dinner as the food was excellent. This stay we managed to get a tour of the observatory. Excellent veiws over the city of Stirling."

"I liked that it was easy to get train into Edinburgh in 15 minutes. The bar and grill were lovely and relaxing. The food in the grill was first class but very expensive as was the drinks. The room we had didnt have a fridge which was disappointing even chill bottles of water"
