Yes, there are a few steps to get in the house, but nothing out of ordinary. No roaches to report. The area is very remote - no grocery stores or a gas station - come prepared."

"The Otter House is really nice, spacious and comfortable. The view of the river is spectacular. My husband fished from the dock the entire stay and caught LOTS of fish. Used nightcrawlers on the bottom. The yard was really nice for the dog. The restaurant down the street had great food. "
