"Everything is brilliant about St. Mary's Guest House in York! Location is perfect - just 10 min stroll along the river front into the centre. Beds very comfy. Breakfast pentiful, cooked to order and delicious. Manager, Caroline, is wonderful. Parking inexpensive and easy. We would highly recommend this for a city break."

"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "
