"Large room with a good view"

"We booked this hotel for a few nights after visiting the Luray Caverns. It's a nice location right next to a beautiful university campus. In close proximity to different outdoors activities as well as a variety of places to eat. The lobby of the hotel looks nice and modern. The rooms do look a bit worn out and could use an update. The front desk staff was pleasant. The pool was supposedly heated but it definitely did not feel that way. Taking one star off because the phone in the room wasn't...

"Nice hotel, but I wasn't sold that the value was better than the chain hotels. We did not eat at the hotel. Great porch to sit on, although some flowers/plants could have been put into the flower pots instead of being 2/3 full with soil. Good location and easy to walk into downtown."

"Homey , comfortable , great price, great location to James Madison . For a minimal fee we had a fantastic breakfast in the bright and cheery dining area. Check in personnel and waitress in the restaurant were very friendly . Will definitely stay here again! "

"Room had a nice view and was quiet. Also had broken shampoo dispenser, used plastic cup and empty toilet roll tube in bathroom, a lot of women’s hair in shower plug hole, a filthy entrance mat, and a corner of the bed sheet tucked up so mattress protector was visible. "
