"The Omni Homestead is the perfect location for a quick ski getaway. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however there were a few kinks with service, that could stand to be ironed out. The wait staff in the Jefferson Taproom was not the most attentive. On two occassions we had to wait for sometone to come and take our order and even bring waters. "*Bring your own groceries. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was easy for us to make all of our meals. Also, you may want to bring plenty of bottle water for drinking and cooking. The hot water heater hadn't been flushed in a long time (maybe never). The hot water had some sediment and smelled of Sulphur. *There are only a few restaurants within 5 miles (15-20 minutes) and none of them are much of anything. *The 3 floor unit only has one hvac unit. "We love the Airlie however there is one serious need. Every room is entirely hardwood flooring and no carpets, rugs, or throw rugs of any kind. If it rains then water gets everywhere and theres nowhere to put your shoes. Puddles everywhere. If there's snow like it did this week then there are puddles from your luggage, puddles from your shoes, and wet socks."
