"Beaufort, South Carolina is like a little Florida town. Right on the water, amazing people and amazing sites. If you are going to visit Paris Island, stay in Beaufort. Although when we stayed, the town was shut down because of ice and snow. The purple house that we stayed at, was amazing. Center of town, cozy little home. We will be staying here again."

There are a couple things that show its age, but nothing to detract from our visit. It is a 3rd floor unit with no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, you will want to take that into consideration. This is an end unit, so it is next to the stairway which is convenient. "
