"We appreciated the generous early check in and late checkout. 14:00 and 11:00 respectively. Parking bang outside your accommodation with ample space is also a big plus. Larger than average TV and the usual other facilities. Room was pretty warm but ventilation was good. Comfy bed. The location was excellent. Quiet, peaceful and a very short walk from the sea, restaurants and shops. "

"Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. The fridge also didn’t work (have informed host and they were apologetic but just posting here to ensure it gets fixed for the next guests). Overall the living space was clean and smelt fresh but aesthetically in the second bedroom and bathroom needed a bit of a refresh. Hosts themselves were really great with communication and letting us know how to get there and get keys and provided us with personal numbers for any issues. (Annoyingly my app kept crashing to message them but that’s not their fault at all). With a few improvements we would be back and pay the same price but for as it stands I would choose to stay in a hotel and spend a little extra. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "

"Booking was straight forward with good communication. Hosts were very welcoming, with nothing too much trouble. Accommodation was well equiped and as described. Garden was 100% dog safe. All added to the lovely experience we had over 2 nights. Would highly recommend"

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."
