"This is a beautiful property in an idyllic location with plenty of comfortable space for our family of 8. "Four adults (two couples) stayed at the cottage during the Goodwood Revival. Great location, fantastic views and wonderful amenities at the cottage. We ended each evening with ping pong and pool! The kitchen set up was easy to navigate and the access to Liphook was useful for runs to the shop or even a take out pizza from Guido's. We wish the weather had been better to allow us to take advantage of the sitting in the garden area. Susie is a great hostess! "

"Lovely cottage, full of charm, great location and only a stone throw from the Main Street with an abundance of independent shops including a butchers and cute deli. Communication from the host was good and check in was easy Thank you for the milk and cake which was a lovely surprise. Would not hesitate to book again. "

"Stayed here in October, opened the door to a smell of cold & damp that never really went away. Heating kept resetting to cold & was out of our control. Daughter had to spray perfume to mask the smell in her room. Damp damage visible throughout. Hosts refused to stop the heating resetting so every morning & every time we came back after being out, it was cold & damp & smelly again. Nice enough cottage otherwise I suppose."

"My wife and I and another couple loved staying at Mallard Cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and the laundry with a clothes dryer was really appreciated. The living area enjoyed floor to ceiling glass looking out on a sunny, relaxing garden which sloped down to the fast flowing river. It was a short walk in to the centre of the city. Hosts, David and Deepti, were welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend this cottage to others."
