We were 2 couples on our first visit to Sao Miguel and the proximity to the airport and city gave us the perfect "home base" while traveling the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. Would highly recommend for both couples traveling and families."

"The apartment was lovely and the website should have included the terrace which one can sit and enjoy the fabulous view. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have air conditioning especially as it was so hot and humid. Altogether a fabulous experience and there were two restaurants within walking distance. "

"We were thrilled with this property for a family of four. The views from the penthouse apartment were incredible. Lots of space, super clean and anything you could need was in the apartment. You need a rental car for this area but it was so peaceful and scenic. Incredible walking trails right outside the complex. We enjoyed the spa amenities and pool every night! I would highly recommend Whales Bay!"
