"I would stay here again"

"It was our last night in Spain and we were ready to go home, but the staff at this hotel made it enjoyable. Great room, no breakfast, because we had to leave the hotel at 4:15 am, but everything else was great."

Boring area, but much more affordable with lovely rooms and facility. Would stay again, especially if planning multiple day trips from Madrid. Walking distance (albeit long) to the historic center."

"The staff was super friendly and helpful, breakfast was always fresh and tasted great. it is right on top of the subway and train station, and there is a bus stop right up front. it makes the location very convenient but you also get some noise due to the foot traffic. The room were comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the place clean. Just take in consideration that you will need to keep your window closed as people smoke in front of the hotel and if your window is open it will get inside the room. "

"Nice, modern, clean hotel in an historical building. The service, lobby restaurant and breakfast buffet are all good. The location is very convenient as it is about a 5-minute walk to/from the train station, a couple of the major art museums, and Retiro Park. Plaza Mayor and most other city center attractions are about a 15-minute walk. Our room felt a little small and cramped, but I know this is common in Europe. We did enjoy the balcony. The hotel sits on a busy street, but we did not hear any noise from our room. "
