"Despite the chilly weather, we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Or perhaps BECAUSE of the chilly weather? While we did get out to explore (Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley State Parks) during the sunny days, we slept in late each morning and returned in the afternoon to curl up by the fireplace with books and music. We cooked all of our meals in the well-stocked kitchen and dined together “at home.” The beds were very comfortable and made with high quality linens. Showering was even a treat! The collections on display kept us entertained throughout our stay. I’m sure we didn’t take in everything over the three days. At night we relaxed in the hot tub, under the stars. We look forward to visiting again during a different season so we can see more of the local area. "

"Room was very spacious and clean. Fridge amd microwave in room, washer and dryer on site for small fee. Breakfast was typical for free continental bagels, muffins, cereal, biscuits and gravy etc. Staff was very friendly! There is a gas station directly across the street with a subway of you sont feel like driving into Davis. It is only a short drive into town and to Blackwater falls:)"

"I loved the quiet during March when we stayed. The front office staff were amazing! The fireplace was awesome too! The only “issue” was the remote control wasn’t working right. I’ll definitely go back"

"The home in Seneca Rocks was very nice and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. The view and grounds were very nice also. Our host had everything that was needed to make your stay comfortable. All pictures were accurate on the website. The last night of our stay the wind blew very hard and knocked the power out and we found some items to help with that. Would highly recommend staying here."

"Very accommodating and friendly. Our room is updated and clean and very comfortable. We traveled with a service dog and were welcomed both in the motel and outside dining. Staff is wonderful! "

"Two couples for a few days in Davis and a great stay at a fantastic property! The space was perfect for the four of us. We cooked most meals in and the kitchen was well equipped. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck for cocktails and using the hot tub when the weather was cooler. The fireplace inside made for cozy movie watching nights. You can tell a lot of care has gone into this property and we appreciated staying there. Would highly recommend!!"
