"Our stay at the Lodge Alley Inn was excellent!!! You can’t beat the amazing location that puts you in walking distance of all the downtown Charleston attractions. Our room was beautiful, huge, and very clean! We loved the balcony overlooking the courtyard too. The staff was so nice too! Highly highly recommend staying here!!!"

"My daughter and I had a studio on the second floor facing the street. It was advertised as each studio having a balcony or patio but no. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and we enjoyed it even without balcony. The building is older so you could hear the people walking back and forth in the room above us. The staff was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the location was awesome. It was a very nice experience in Charleston. "

One made quite a few odd and kind of rude comments toward me, but other than that the stay was wonderful. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was enjoying exploring Chareston, the building was in a great central location on King Street. Made walking and biking a breeze."
