"Our stay at the Lodge Alley Inn was excellent!!! You can’t beat the amazing location that puts you in walking distance of all the downtown Charleston attractions. The Lodge Alley Inn in the heart of Charleston!

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (145)
"My daughter and I had a studio on the second floor facing the street. It was advertised as each studio having a balcony or patio but no. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and we enjoyed it even without balcony. The building is older so you could hear the people walking back and forth in the room above us. The staff was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the location was awesome. It was a very nice experience in Charleston. "

King Street Boutique Resort

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (34)
"Very comfortable and clean location. The employees at the location were very kind and helpful. One made quite a few odd and kind of rude comments toward me, but other than that the stay was wonderful. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was enjoying exploring Chareston, the building was in a great central location on King Street. Made walking and biking a breeze."

The Lodge Alley Inn in the heart of Charleston!

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (63)
"Lodge Alley Inn is a lovely, clean, charming place right in the heart of Charleston's historic district. The room was as described. The staff were friendly and helpful. Important to be aware your room may be multilevel with lots of stairs. Also, you may not be communicating directly with the owner. Lodge Alley is a Bluegreen Vacation Club, and we had two confirmation numbers, one with BlueGreen and one with a third party, ResortShare. So modifying your reservation once you're checked in is...

"It was a nice quiet place to stay while visiting Charleston. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was great. The location is a bit far from the main activity in the historic district but it gives you a good opportunity to walk the full length of King Street and see all of the shops. The only thing I didn’t like was when I booked my hotel it was not clear that this a resort, and I was being booked by one of the timeshare owners and not the resort itself. Also it wasn’t...

Right in Historic Charleston Downtown 1 BR Loft in The Lodge Alley Inn

8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (1)
"We were very pleased with our stay overall. Our loft was clean and comfortable and convenient to everything. I think it would be important to note in the listing that the washer/dryer amenity listed is actually not available in the unit (I heard there was a laundry on site somewhere though), there is a $35 nightly fee for valet which is virtually impossible to do without, and guests will be approached with a timeshare condo sales pitch. Overall we were very pleased with our unit and would stay...
