"Fabulous hotel- what made it was the staff. They couldn’t have been more friendly. It is tired looking on the outside but don’t be put off- lovely big rooms Lovely breakfast, wide choice. We will definitely book again My only tiny, tiny quibble is- no soap was given for the sink and I had to keep leaning across into the shower ( all lovely products) to get shower gel and did slip once . "

"Fabulous location in the centre of Seahouses with views over the harbour. All the staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic trip. Nothing was too much trouble and although we didn’t have a dog with us, those that were there were given an equally warm welcome! (There was a dog free area of the dining room as well but all the pets were very well behaved - obviously exhausted by all those long beautiful coastal walks.) "Very nice cottage plenty of room for 6 people and close to all local amenities. Beach is about a 15min walk away but not a problem. Harbour is just at the bottom of the road and plenty of benches to sit and relax. My only issue with all properties on this street/road not just this one is parking. You can literally park one car per property and then still have to ask people to move vehicles to get in and out. Other than that loved our stay."

"The parking space for the property is extremely tight and very difficult to navigate although out car isn't large. The grill on the cooker was only working on the right and the front door to the property was extremely stiff and tight due to the wet weather. We had an issue with the heating when we arrived which was promptly dealt with by the lovely caretaker. Some lovely touches, lightfittings and mirrors etc and the property is tastefully decorated.
