"We loved the retro look of the room and the hotel. As other reviewers noted, the hotel is close to sorority and fraternity houses, so there's a lot of party-related noise and activity. Also, the only free parking is on the street, so it can be hard to find a spot. We definitely will stay again because we loved the hotel and its proximity to UVA Grounds and restaurants."

"CALL AHEAD IF YOU NEED TO ARRIVE LATE. Staff was very helpful so not upset, but the central office said we could arrive late in the evening, and when we showed up they labeled us a no show. So, call them directly if you will be arriving late. Great hotel stay. "
