"We loved the location, and it's was fun to visit with the animals. Wish we were able to sample some of the chicken eggs. There is a bit of deferred maintenance, some water damage in the kitchen. Would also have been great if there was a hair dryer available, especially as the weather gets colder. All in all a fun stay at a farm with a great location."

"We were 4 adults visiting the area and couldn’t be more pleased with how convenient the house was to various wineries, historic sites, and downtown C’ville. Jeff was very responsive to any questions and provided a nicely stocked kitchen and fridge. Lots of space to spread out and comfy beds. We would rent again. "

"We gathered for Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. Comfortable beds and bedding and a huge space to all be together. The fire pit and yard games were so much fun. We walked around the beautiful property and went into Charlottesville for the day. Great location would highly recommend. "

"Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay on this lovely farm! The cottage is authentic, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our boys most enjoyed playing with the friendly family pets, as well as taking a stroll through the fields to see some farm animals. The hosts also have a restaurant in town where we had a delightful meal during our stay. My only regret is that our schedule was so full of events that we didn't have even more time to spend in this beautiful and relaxing atmosphere."

"The house and property were beautiful. My husband got to fish a few times in the river. We walked on the property a lot. Communication was great with Glen. He was very quick to respond to problems. The house was on a stunning secluded piece of land outside Charlottesville and offered incredible views. The house was very well appointed and they certainly thought of everything. "It was very quiet and even when there was a screaming child, the staff took care of it right away. I even had some very important paperwork to get emailed to my husband’s office, and they were very accommodating for me. They were very helpful and understanding about my situation as my husband is in UVA hospital for open heart surgery. We’re hoping to get closer to home for this. Driving home and back can get very stressful and expensive. Thank you also to the guest whose car that I accidentally hit in the parking lot. I had no idea that I hit it because of all of the snow. He was also very kind. I was more upset than him. I will be back again. "
