A 5 mins stroll down through the Rocks Village

"We had a lovely stay here. The location is excellent - right by the harbour and a reserve, and a pleasant walk down to the Rocks. Five minutes walk away from a metro station so getting into town was very easy. The host was friendly and helpful and very prompt to reply to texts. The accommodation was really cute, a historic building with living area and kitchen downstairs (with aircon) and bedrooms (both with aircon) and bathroom upstairs. Comfy beds. There is no wifi which we didn't notice when...

"The property was fantastic and we would definitely stay again. The constant rain kept us from enjoying the outdoor setting however we were very comfortable indoors. Marie was an excellent host and takes great pride in keeping her property clean!"

"Nice cottage to stay at and unwind. We caught a nice size flathead off the jetty and the picnic area was perfect for lazy afternoons. Wish we had brought a picnic blanket. "

"Had such a lovely stay, place is beautiful. So close to the beach and restaurants. Definitely coming back again."

"Lovely old home with fireplace and excellent cooking facilities. Property is huge and has charm. Great deck to sit and look out at the river with peace and quiet, no neighbours. River access is very narrow (fishing not possible) and the mud at low tide is very deep (not possible to walk on). We suspected this before booking but didn't realise how bad the mud actually was until sinking in it when we tried to walk. Despite the limited activities without access to river, which is location draw...

"We could not recommend this beautiful cottage enough. The absolute perfect location walking distance to everything in Avalon and a 2min drive to whale or palm beach. Dee was an amazing host everything in the house is super clean & low maintenance. We will definitely be back this year!"
