"We have stayed here before. The staff are great, food is good and there is plenty of space. The location is perfect in this lovely town. Dog friendly and human friendly too. It is an old hotel but that adds character not detracts from it. Highly recommend. "

"Just enjoyed a lovely one night stay the hotel looks very bland from the outside but once you get indoor the decor is lovely. we paid £15 each to use the spa facilities definitely worth it we made good use of it during our stay my wife booked herself in for a massage. Room was very good lovely comfortable bed with all the amenities coffee machine, iron, ironing board, hairdryer etc. The only thing I would pull it on is the shower can become very slippy from the soap or shower gel. We didn’t have our evening meal in the restaurant but we did have breakfast plenty of choice from usual breakfast items to pancakes and pastries. Overall it was a lovely would definitely stay here again."

"Great area and a nice looking historic building. Front desk was helpful and kind. It was clean and had some great amenities. Only negative is there is not a fridge in the room which wasn’t a big deal for us but it is something to be aware of! "
