"This was the best place we stayed on our whole island hopping trip. Not only was the hotel in a great location, but just the little details made all the difference. Recyclable toothbrushes and a sewing kit just when I needed to fix something. Extra pillows available in case you can’t sleep with one. Where other places give you the near minimum, the Almira Inn goes that extra mile. Breakfast was lovely too and Calypso the cat was difficult to say goodbye to. If we are ever back in Ios we will...

"This is great spot! Friendly, clean, nice linens, in a perfect location. Loved the alleyways. There are slopes and stairs so you need to be okay with that. Roof top terrace was wonderful for wine and sunset. Mimosa, Christina and Maria were great to deal with. Everything was perfect. "

"This was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. One of the best places we have stayed. Amazing views from the entire property and the rooms and balcony. Staff were great and very informative. Gave us a lot of great suggestions for the island and other islands as well. I would advise anyone coming to this island or Mykonos to have a rental car for this area or an ATV or you could be walking a ways. Taxis are not cheap on the island. Would have also been nice to get more coffee pods as there...

"Athina was so kind, generous and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Suite was beautifully appointed and in a great location opposite perfect Plaka Beach. Bus stop right outside property and shops and rest Lise walking distance. Yukka Beach Bar (part of the resort) provided amazing food and service. Breakfast buffet was also delicious. "Good location if you don’t mind taking the bus into Chora or walking down to the beach. My recommendation is to rent an ATV if you stay here. Incredible view and the employees were very kind. My only complaints would be that the bathroom smelt like sewage from time to time, probably a plumbing issue. And they also hit you with a €3 a day charge at the end of your stay. 4/5"

"The rooms were unique and clean. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing. but sufficient. Beach was right outside the door with access to the boardwalk which went directly in to town. Parking the rent a car was difficult and not recommended to drive in to town. However, the town is very walkable."
