It is really on the beach, so walk down from pool to beach is very convenient. The pool is beautiful with good chill music all day..... the breakfast is included and very good. The hotel is clean and rooms are relatively small. Each room with terraces that are very nice to the bay of the beach. The Staffs are very professional. the bad smell from the pool area caused by sewage is happening sometimes.....the rooms are quite small and the floors looks a bit old. Over all the place is very nice.

The perfect Ios stay

This is the only place I will be staying at I’m Ios moving forward. The service is spectacular. The rooms were spacious With a million dollar view. The breakfast and food was delicious. It’s in the perfect location. I will be come back.

If going to Greece, the island of Ios should be your last stop. It is very relaxing and a great way to unwind from all of the sightseeing. Staying at the Ios Palace was fantastic! The hotel is waterfront and provides great views of the beach and swimming pools. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well. Knowing this was our last stop, we splurged at this hotel and got a room with a fantastic view with balcony. It was well worth it! The room was large, clean and has a good size balcony for evening wine overlooking the ocean. Our room was high up near the upper pool. The upper pool was much more quiet than the main pool which made for a much more relaxing atmosphere. Restaurants are all within walking distance and there were plenty to choose from. Staff was responsive when there was an issue with the AC. They came up right away and fixed the problem. The hotel can also arrange transportation to and from the ferry port. The transport was waiting at the dock with our name on a sign which made him easy to find. If returning to Ios, we would definitely stay here again.

The views from my room were absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, I had an accident, twisted my ankle, on the first day of my stay. The staff was very empathetic and helpful in making sure I was still able to enjoy my time st the hotel.

One of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. We are planning to come back next year for our honeymoon. The pool villa is worth every single penny. The most stunning views of our entire 2 week trip in Greece. The staff was WONDERFUL! So accommodating and friendly I would highly suggest this place to anyone looking for 5/5 service. Best place to stay in IOS hands down.

Everything about this hotel was perfection! From being picked up at the port to the welcome drink on arrival! The staff here were friendly, helpful and aimed to make your stay amazing! Breakfasts were included and a perfect way to start your day and a fantastic selection of delicious prepared choices. We didn’t get to use the spa on property as our stay was short. There were two choices of pools, a bar and a beach with water sports right below hotel. We booked stand up paddling one afternoon It was walking distance to more restaurants and a short taxi to town! Loved our stay here! Would love to return and stay longer!

We had a lovely stay at Ios Palace. At check-in they kindly upgraded us to a new part of the hotel. Which we discovered later is under same management, but will actually be separate hotel ‘Ios Grande’ Anyway it was lovely with own pool and terrace with amazing view. Service was great and we had a super time.

We loved this hotel, however the rooms and definitely the bathrooms need an update and thorough cleaning. While the fitness room is adequate it is so hot it makes working out difficult. I asked the front desk manager to find a fan and she never followed through with me. It was tiny and probably 95 degrees. The air unit is facing a wall not the fitness cardio machines. If you are looking for a beach front quiet resort with a very kind staff choose this. Many many good restaurants within a few minutes walking.

I think the property is super overrated, you pay just for the view, room very old and ALL the hotel has a terrible problem with a reflux of sewage on drains, yes you room will be smelling sewage doesn’t matter what room you stayed, i request twice to change rooms so i just gave up, also you need take two elevators and walk stairs to get in your room, they have a salt water pool and a very nice view, also the sauna is supposed to be free but they try charge you €20 just say you wont pay. In a overall i would give a 6,5 rate, but definitely not Worth the $1700 for 5 nights ( also they charges €7 per night as a “government fee” what is insane.

Upon arriving, we were helped with our bags and given a welcome refreshment, which was so lovely, especially after a long travel. We arrived before check-in time (two hours prior), and so we waited by the pool with our drinks, which was an amazing and breathtaking view. However, we had assumed that someone would come to get us when our rooms were ready, but no one did. Ten minutes before our check-in time, we decided to go and ask. The very nice receptionist said she would check. She looked at her computer and announced that it was in fact ready. We wished that someone would have gotten us as we waited quite a long time. But we assumed they must have been busy. The view from our room was beautiful, but the room itself was very basic. For the price that you are paying, we had expected something a little more, but the view and the pool were gorgeous. Again, at this hotel, you are mostly paying for location more than anything else. Our first night, we had no hot water as well. But once my husband spoke to the receptionist, they sent someone right away. The hot water was back twenty minutes later. That was nice, especially since it was approx. 11pm when this happened. Great service on that front! The breakfast was awesome too! So much to choose from! We were very happy with it! We would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat but would not pay the same we had paid this time around. If it was a little cheaper, a definite recommendation! But again, the location was perfect – right o
