"We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was first class, as were the staff. I have two comments about our room (8) - the pillows were a bit lumpy and if we had occasion to stay again, I’d request not to stay in this room because of the two steep steps down into the bathroom. Younger folk may have no problem with them but being that much older and having creaky knees, it wasn’t easy to negotiate them. Thankfully there was a very sturdy rail to hold onto. "Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "
