"The property was beautiful, but it needs some new appliances (Microwave needs replaced (old & dirty looking) and Stove/Oven had one top burner that didn't work at all) Refrigerator was okay. People that provide maintenance for the property should always check it out prior to guests arriving. The bunk house room and bathroom were full of ants upon arrival. "Five of us stayed for five nights. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home owner supplied us with detailed instructions to get to the house and the property manager was quick to answer all of our questions.It really is a nice secluded property but close to everything we needed. "This beautifully situated house in the hills above Matapalo is generally clean and functional. The pool is very nice and the kitchen is modern but without a dishwasher. The washing machine was not functional and the dryer is not accessible for guest use. "Peaceful is the word that comes to mind. Property is well designed, well maintained and property managers were very communicative with any questions we had. Wifi was great. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to location. It’s remote and isolated so, just be aware. Many grocery stores in the area to stock up pantry. 50 bird species identités during our stay. Butterflies a plenty. Great access (by vehicle ) to beaches with macaws, sloths. Highly recommend for those looking to just get away"
