"WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE. THE FOOD IS OLD, STALE, HORRIBLE, I ASKED FOR CLEAN TOWELS AND THE OWNER AND I GOT INTO A SHOUTING MATCH. HE EVEN TOLD ME GO BACK TO AMERICA. WE CHECKED OUT AN ENTIRE DAY EARLIER AND WAS CHARGED A 25$ US CANCELLATION FEE. FOR WHAT??? Only God knows. STAY AWAY FROM THERE. ITS DESERTED, NOTHING TO DO AND NOT AS DESCRIBED AS IN THE PUCTURES ON THE WEBSITE."

"Our little apartment above the pool was air conditioned with a working kitchen and decent private bathroom. The views were spectacular with flocks of toucans rising up the mountain and the sound of the ocean at sunrise. The mattress was a bit worn and thin but we had a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly gracious to allow us to stay at the last minute on a holiday weekend and accommodated our family very generously. The location is convenient to Dominical and worth the drive for the views....

"We loved our time at Portasal Living. The villa was amazing, with lots of space and the pool was amazing for a dip every day.. From seeing toucans and parrots right before us to the amazing dinner by our private chef Desiree, it was such a great time. Heriberto was great in getting our tour and trip tickets for all the sights. They even greeted us with a Bottle of wine for our anniversary. They also stocked the fridge with cold beer for us to have when we arrived. We are already talking about a...

"I enjoyed being in the rain forest with very few other people around, the pool was small but very nice and refreshing. The breakfasts and staff were amazing, especially Diego. On the downside the road in was 2 km and rough, the last 200 yards really is meant for 4WD. The Wi-fi never worked. There is no AC, most nights were ok, some were too hot."
