"We had a great stay at Janelo do Mar. The villa is in a great location near restaurants and a short drive to beautiful beaches. We had a few issues which Isabel did her best to sort out. One point I would raise is the lack of lighting by the BBQ area. We were only a family of 4 so could eat during the evening at the small table outside the villa overlooking the pool but we couldn’t see to BBQ! "Lovely villa with character. Large shared living space. Rooms large - twin on ground floor 2 en suite rooms one almost a mezzanine and one accessed through a separate door outside the building. We didn’t try the sauna or pool as it was February. Kitchen has everything to cater for a large group with a big dining table.Log burner was fantastic.Great location halfway up the valley side above Monchique."

"Vila Balaia is an oasis of tranquility. We were 2 families that spent 6/4 nights there in March, and the experience was outstanding. Claudia was very friendly and accommodating with our early check-in, she bought us some bread, milk and oranges as a welcome gift, which was very appreciated. "We had a fantastic time. The house is roomy, comfortable, and extremely well laid out. The fireplace gave us a beautiful chance to warm up in the evenings and review our days, while listening to a pair of Tawny Owls. Casa Milonga is very close to Praia da Marinha -- a stunning beach and breathtaking coastline. The long hike along the coast is stunning. And it was easy to drive to more distant places, both east and west. This is the perfect place for a relaxed vacation."
