The property, in a quiet, quaint neighbourhood, was just what we were looking for and within 5 minutes' walk of the centre of Ferragudo via narrow, cobbled ruas , most barely a cars-width wide, and steep flights of steps. There there is a pocket-sized "supermarket" with all essential supplies, including fresh meat and vegetables and some superb wines. A city-sized supermarket is 30 minutes' away. "While this is a good location, the property and manager were incredibly disappointing. When we arrived, the lockbox was not labeled with the code given by the manager. Eventually, we found it, but the key was NOT in the lockbox. The manager did not answer his phone. Someone else who had a property found the key for us. There was NO wifi. We tried several times to contact the manager, but he never fixed this. The water went out the first day, so we could not take a shower. The property said it...

"Located right in the center of Alvor, very close to restaurants and shops. The downside is that there is a huge construction site neighbouring the house. Lots of noise. Instructions to get into the house was unclear, the key was missing from the key chain. We waited more than 30 min to get in. There were 4 doors and none of the keys worked. We had the main floor. The upstairs is rented as well. The doors knobs need replacing, they barely work and one came off in our hand. Cleaniless...

"The accomodation was traditional and clean, however the outside space was poorly kept and pool was unusable. The note in side the property said it was the occupants responcibility to clean the pool. I don't go on holiday to to start working on the place i am staying. The bedding was very minimal and no duvets."

"The apartment was exactly as it was described. The outdoor space was lovely. We had a minor issue the first day and our host, Thyl, arrived to address it within five minutes. He was wonderfully informative about the town and was very helpful with recommendations. Thyl also does tours and we thoroughly recommend. Thank you!"

"We had an amazing stay ! Villa was amazing, everything you need is all there, from washing machine to hair dryer. Pool was a good size. Celine and her family welcomed us and anything we wanted or needed to now they were very helpful. The Villa was so peaceful, just into a taxi or bolt and within 5 mins we were at the beach or old town. Looking forward to going again soon"
