We killed two cockroaches, had small insects in our belongings, I’d leave the house and find them in my hand bag! The property had a strange smell, stray cats which was heartbreaking as they’d be looking/ begging fofor food. The bathroom in our room had no door, plus the water system didn’t work, so it was either piping hot (enough to make a coffee)...

"Well situated in Funchal. We found it a straightforward walk into the city centre and near to the airport bus stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Small swimming pool on roof which helped cooling off after our levada walks. "
