"I'm a plane Spotter, so it was ideal for me, 30 minutes walk from Madeira airport, views over looking the airport, there is no heating or air conditioning in the bungalow, it's well equipped quite spacious, new like condition, considering how close it was to the runway aircraft noise wasn't much of a problem, not really any flights 9pm until 6 or 7am, From Neil "

"As the name implies, this was an excellent place to get to know Madeira. The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. The home itself was very clean and cozy with all the comforts needed. "What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway! The property itself was great. Obviously lived in, so you’re in somebody’s actual house rather than a faceless rental. Everything you need is there to cook, clean and sleep soundly.
