"Great stay, comfortable beds nice and clean, the picture needs updating of the view from the back balcony, we had a nice time, check in process was easy and Fatima was on hand for questions we had. One thing I would suggest is that if you could have water in the fridge on arrival as we had a late flight I had to go in town with the kids to find a takeaway that had water when we really just wanted to go to bed "

"My experience was good, the property has a average size but for the price its charge it should have a bit of more comfort, it should have better mattresses. Very hard and uncomfortable, missing like a kettle, the rest was good!! cleanliness excellente, bed sheet very clean i was quite impressed. Excellente location, and owner of the house was lovely all the time, very caring and attentive."

"The apartment has everything you need and is very clean. The host was great! Helena kept in contact with us and came to visit us to check that we were happy. If you’re planning on staying here with the intention to travel to surrounding areas I’d advise you to rent a car. Getting a cab can be quite difficult at times. Other than that, this place is perfect!"

"The property met all our expectations. Appliances were quite new and obviously worked well. Took awhile to figure out European controls on various appliances, even after Sandra showed us how. Sandra provided heater to get us through cooler temperatures. The couple of times we needed her, she was very helpful and prompt. Even gave us sack of oranges and lemons from her own trees. Our arrival was delayed a few hours, but Sandra waited and was still smiling when we arrived."

"The apartment was exactly as described and in a lovely location. The apartment was very well kitted out and had everything I needed for my stay. There was ample on street parking right outside the apartment and the area felt very safe. "We really enjoyed our stay at João property it is in a great location near to the beach with shops and restaurants closeby it gets busy for parking in the daytime but I always found a space later when finished for the day, the condo was really nice, clean with all facilities and comfy beds the pool was great for a morning swim no one turns up until 10:30 so we had it to ourselves! The air con was a much needed extra with the heat getting upto near 40deg, all messages to João were answered...

"Een vreemde start, omdat de eigenaar ons nog niet verwacht had op die dag. Gelukkig werd het snel geregeld door tussenkomst van VRBO, het appartement werd haastig schoongemaakt waar we bij stonden. Dat liet nog wel wat te wensen over, hier kunnen wij geen 5 sterren voor geven. De locatie en het appartement waren prima, het enige wat we ongemakkelijk vonden, was dat er veel spullen van de eigenaar stonden in keuken en badkamer.Misschien omdat hij ons nog niet verwacht had."

"This was the worst property I have ever stayed at, it was on a nicely kept complex grounds were nice however you went downstairs to it there were cockroaches, ants galore the lounge had been separated with a stud wall cutting out all natural light making the lounge so small it felt so claustrophobic with the lights out it was pitch black!! "Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great...
