"The hotel is in an excellent location close to the river and some of the spectacular buildings such as the Stock Exchange. The Line 1 tram stop is in front of the hotel as are the bus stops for the various tourist buses. Access is slightly restricted over a cobbled road but the staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Great location close to Ribiera. Hotel is an original building and refurbished to a very high standard. Reception and lounge is very quiet. We stayed at the rear of the hotel for a quiet room so you compromise on the view but very peaceful. Rooms at the front have a view but the road below is busy most of the time so can be noisy."

"It had large rooms and they were so clean. The staff was super friendly and had lots of suggestions about where to eat, I loved the breakfast, fresh olive paste, fresh yogurt, and honey."
