"Since I was benefitted from reading others’ comments, want to document my experience in case it is helpful for anyone in future. First, the most positive is the location. To south, it takes 10 minutes to walk to waterfront/downtime. To north, walk less 10 minutes for gas station and a large shopping complex in which you may find food court, grocery store, etc. During peak season, probably convenient to walk around instead driving and trying to find a parking spot. "Amazing property close to downtown Sao Miguel. Shopping and restaurants near by. Great front desk staff. Turkish baths were quite relaxing after long days of exploring this beautiful island. Rooms were spacious and very nice! Would definitely stay here again. "

"Seemed a bit expensive for what was offered (no breakfast/cafe da manha) but accomodation was extremely tight on Sao Miguel Island vs. Faial Island. A bit of traffic in the st. but I still slept well."

"Absolutely amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, the WhatsApp communication was very fast. When we were trying to book a taxi to the airport they were very helpful! The room was extremely clean and the bedding was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I could not recommend this hostel more!!!"

"the only good thing is the location as for the rest not happy at all my cousin who stayed at this place for 20 days was not happy at all first they gave her a small room that had no bathroom then they moved her to another room with a private bathroom but on the 3 floor of the building and as she is a senior and has problems with her knees it was hard for climbing the stairs also there was never toilette paper she bought her own no one ever came to change towels she washed and dried the ones that...

"An absolutely perfect stay. The hotel is lovely, clean, and well maintained. My room had everything I needed and the air conditioner was a bonus that worked perfectly. The staff went out of their way to help me - making sure I got breakfast before my tour, calling taxis, making recommendations etc. It’s a smidge out of the main part of town but still only a 10 minute walk or so. Would absolutely recommend. "

"Claudio our host was responsive and very helpful. Excellent customer service and location was perfect and centralized to entire part of the island. There is a free parking lot to park overnight north of the property. About .70 euro per hour if parking on street . Place was spacious with adequate amenities. Would definetly come back again. "
