This is a beautiful individual old building furnished in a delightful appropriate manner. Yes, it is a little dark but that's how it was 500 years ago. "Beautifully restored Manor House that feels more like a museum than a hotel. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was immaculate. Every nook and cranny of the hotel is packed with antiques and interesting artefacts. Very interesting but somehow rather unnerving too!
