"Lovely stay with a beautiful rooftop pool. I stayed here for the half marathon race and loved the cooler outside my room and refillable glass water bottle. Location is safe and walkable. To many restaurants and attractions in the city. Would certainly stay here again."

"A great 3 night stay. We loved the location - super views but very easy to walk into the town to explore! We were able to park our car on site too which was a real bonus. Our room was clean comfortable and we had a lovely view of the port. We enjoyed the pool and terrace on our last day. One suggestion and that's for more information to be given on the Spa facilities. We thought they were great but sadly only found out about them at the very end of our stay. I have to mention the breakfast buffet. It was amazing. So much choice, catering for all tastes with great staff too If we returned to Funchal we would definitely stay here. "

"We stayed in 3 bedrooms villa. It's modern, big, clean, & comfortable place to spend with friends & family. The complex has beautiful beach view, clean & safe. The staff are nice & professional. The buffet food is excellent. The specialty restaurant is hard to get a reservation since it's limited space. I wish the resort tells & gives the guest option to special restaurant prior our arrival. "The hotel is in a great location, with a walkable area and a lot of restaurants around it. We stayed in a room with pool view and were actually able to walk out the room and go straight to the pool. There also was an ocean view from our room, although we never got down to the beach. The staff was friendly and all the amenities were fine. Free parking was limited, especially since it was also being used by the locals. "
