"The Hotel Continental was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were comfortable with a large patio facing the water. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. My friend and I ate at the bar that evening and the food was tasty. The Hotel Continental was well-located for walks into town, as well as to Portofino and Rapallo. Finally, the staff were delightful - friendly and helpful. Sadly, we did not have time to use the brand new spa. Next time! I highly recommend the Hotel Continental. "

"It was great to stay in a historic old home. It was totally comfortable and though I would be considered elderly I don’t come to Italy expecting not to have to climb stairs or do a lot of walking. The breakfast was basic continental style but everything served was above average. I wish there had been some Kleenex as noses of the elderly do weep more than we want them to. I was within easy walking distance of all I wanted to see and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again and I hope I do. "
