"Our entire experience was fantastic. The rooms are lovely, the garden/grounds are impeccably well taken care of, and the staff (including the owners) were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious (as was their special brand of organic Costa Rican coffee) and the coconut marg was a hit. It is an easy walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. We will be booking again. "

"This resort has seen better days! Most of the structures are older and have not been kept in good repair. Wood decking around pool area is coming loose and is hazardous. Pool itself needs repairs. Rooms are more rustic but have modern combo locks on dorrs. our lock malfunctioned, so we were upgraded to the deluxe "house". This was much bigger and better with a full kitchen, and was further from the main road which meant it was quieter. staying in units near the road would be very loud. Staff was...

"Before you walk through the gates, you’ll be wondering if this is one of the bad hostel’s on your trip… but as soon as you check in and meet pepe, you’ll quickly feel like home. There’s a lot of space, the rooms are clean, the kitchen doesn’t really need anything and, best of all, you’ll become friends woth Pepe and his wonderful dog It’s too far away from the beach to walk but you can easily get a collectivo and isn’t very much."

"Fun place! Well-kept, with common kitchen & nice staff. (And I had private room that was lovely & well worth the price.) Attracts cool folks from many parts of the world. Easy to make friends. ...and just a few streets over from the beach, & from food & nitelife. Really enjoyed! "
